RIFT VALLEY explores Stockholms geological and sociological layers, looking at how the city’s exposed bedrock bring the deep time of the landscape into contact with daily experience. The project imagines and experiments with ways to bring the built, social and natural aspects of the city into dialogue with one another, towards blurring the division between the city and its surroundings.
