Linea Dei Fontanili, is a short film following what’s left of the Navigli in Milan, a network of canals which are now all but covered over, but used to carry water through the city from the mountains to the sea. The films title translates as the ‘line of the fountains’, and names an encounter between geological layers of different permeability, which allows deep waters to resurface.
